This assembly features a Rain Bird XCZ-PRB-100-COM drip control zone kit installed within a standard Rain Bird VB-STD valve box. The system connects to a mainline pipe via a PVC schedule 40 tee or ell, transitioning through a PVC schedule 80 nipple to a PVC schedule 40 ell and a secondary schedule 80 nipple. The control zone includes a one-inch ball valve, a Rain Bird PESB remote control valve, and a pressure-regulating basket filter. Electrical connections are made using waterproof Rain Bird DB series connectors with thirty inches of coiled wire. The entire valve assembly rests on a three-inch minimum depth bed of three-quarter-inch washed gravel for drainage, with lateral piping exiting the box through a PVC schedule 40 female adaptor.
