A Rain Bird XF series on-surface dripline connects to a PVC schedule 40 tee or elbow via a barb-to-male fitting. The dripline terminates at a flush point inside a subterranean emitter box, utilizing a Rain Bird MDCFCAP flush cap and MDCFCOUP easy-fit coupling on a half-inch polyethylene blank tubing. The emitter box sits upon a three-inch minimum depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel. A minimum of six inches of dripline tubing must be maintained within the valve box to allow for the redirection of flushed water outside the enclosure.
